Uhh what causes a yeast infection? My doctor said I either wear too tight pants or put on too much moisturizer/anti-biotic thing.. I doubt thats true .. It’s like this sticky whiteish thing that I get on my underwear.
You normally have some yeast in your body. When they overproduce and get out of control, you have a yeast infection.
Your doctor is right…
Tight pants can cause it because they don’t let the area get enough air, which makes a moist warm enviornment where the yeast can multiply.
Taking antibiotics can wipe out the good bacteria in your body that keep the yeast in check, so you get an overproduction of yeast.
Using scented soaps or cremes can cause irritation, which increases your chance of getting the infection.

A yeast infection can come from bad hygiene, condoms, wearing incredibly tight pants, not changing underwear (bad hygiene), and other things.
So yeah, take your pick.

A yeast infection can caused by the natural bacteria (flora) of your body or specifically vaginal area, being stripped away allowing bacteria to grow. Antibiotics can do this. Also, if you douche a lot, that can cause yeast infections because you are changing the pH in that area. Yeast can also be found under arms breasts, peri area because yeast likes to grow in warm moist areas. Make sure that you clean and dry very well. It is more the type of panties not so much as how tight they are, cotton panties should be worn if you have frequent reoccurring yeast infections.

Some or too many medications can also cause yeast infection.

I take 4 or 5 different meds a day and it has personally happened to me.
